COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
NAPKINS, PAPER, DINNER, THREE-PLY
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description, for all federal agencies.
1. SCOPE. This Commercial Item Description covers white, three-ply, eight-folded, paper dinner napkins.
2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
2.1 Material. Napkins furnished under this description shall contain not less than 30 percent postconsumer recovered materials, as defined by 40 CFR Part 250.
2.2 Workmanship. The napkins shall be clean and free of holes, tears,
wrinkles, dirt orforeign particles that adversely affect appearance or
serviceability. There shall be no visible clumps of undispersed fibers or thin
looking areas in the napkin. The napkins shall be square cut with clean, smooth
edges without raggedness.
