COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
TISSUE, FACIAL
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description for all federal agencies.
1. SCOPE. This description covers white, highly absorbent two ply, folded facial tissue intended for use as a disposable handkerchief.
2. CLASS 1FICATION. The facial tissue shall be furnished in the following types:
Type 1 – Inter folded
Type 2 – Supplier’s option
Type 3 – Supplier’s option
3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
3.1 The facial tissue shall comply with Table I of ASTM D4369; Table A and the following characteristics.
3.2 The sizes for type 1, 2 and 3 shall be as listed in Table A
