2.4 Style and Dimensions. Napkins shall be single ply and folded.
When folded, both junior and senior napkins shall comply with the following
range of dimensions:
Length – 16.8 cm to 17.5 cm (6 5/8 to 6 7/8 inches)
Width – 8.6 cm to 9.2 cm (3 3/8 to 3 5/8 inches )
When unfolded, the napkins shall comply with the following
dimensions:
Type I – Junior napkin
Area – 609.7 sq.cm (130 sq. inch) minimum
Length – 33.9 cm (13 3/8 inch) minimum
Width – 17.8 cm (7 inch) minimum
Type II – Senior napkin
Area – 838.7 sq.cm. (130 sq. inch) minimum
Length – 25.1 cm (9 7/8 inch) minimum
Width – 25.1 cm (9 7/8 inch) minimum
2.5 General Requirements.
2.5.1 Odor. Napkins shall have no disagreeable odor, either wet or dry.
2.5.2 Color. Napkins shall be white and of uniform color.
2.5.3 Finish. Napkins shall be creped or embossed.
